Our application to the Voluntary Sector Development Fund has been successful and we have been awarded £37,063 towards training this year.  The bulk of this award will be spent on SVQ courses to enable staff to register with the SSSC

At the end of March this year Streets Ahead will take over the management and running of Mount View in Duns.  Mount View is a Care Home offering support to 11 people with profound and complex needs and both organisations have been working closely together over the last 10 years.  This is a logical progression in the relationship and will offer broader experience and shared training to staff across the services.
